Monday February 8th, treat yourself to a nice lunch break.

Head out to Òran Mór for a Play, a Pie and a Pint. A solo performance by writer/performer/director Gary McNair about his five-step programme to happiness. Ticket price includes a pie and drink. Doors 12.30pm on Monday, noon the rest of the week. (Top of Byres Road Glasgow G12 8QX)

 

Tuesday, February 9th, give your business a boost.

If you are interested in taking on more business then pop along to the next BNI networking breakfast. Bring plenty of business cards The Thistle Hotel, Cambridge street, Glasgow, 7-8.30am.

 

Wednesday February 10th, go out for dinner, drinks and good music

8pm, time to head out to MacSorley's Music Bar. Built by a New Yorker ex-pat of the same name, number 42 at the corner of Jamaica Street and Midland Street has remained under his moniker and as a no nonsense Scottish boozer ever since. Now restored to former glories, MacSorley's pursues three goals: FOOD, DRINK & MUSIC. On the programme tonight, local singers and songwriters. MacSorley's is situated at 42 Jamaica Street, Glasgow. Thursday February 11th, give those little grey cells a workout.

At the Glasgow Science Center, Carrey narrates an underwater 3D look at the impact of global warming upon the diverse coastal regions of Southern Australia, New Guinea and the Indo-Pacific areas at 12.45pm
